Mixed Media painting for ‘Amina’.

In Africa, Amina was the warrior Queen of Zazzau, a ruthless warrior, known as ‘a woman capable as a man’. She represents the strength and spirit of womanhood.

Multiple tools have been applied for the creation of this commission painting including brushes and palette knives, gold leaf resulting in texture and interest throughout the painting.

The sides are painted in white paint and there is a wire on the back so it is ready to hang with no framing necessary.
